GSO: Sweet Girls by Dana

Been running around digi land again, soaking up a lot of gallery goodness and spotted today’s GSO right off the bat.  With it’s bright colors and great patterns, Sweet Girls by Dana certainly stood out among all the goodies in the Sweet Shoppe Gallery.

I am a sucker for a quilt, so of course I love the hexagon patchwork, the beautiful paper patterns and all that wonderful stitching!  I especially love the little stitched scalloped border!  I also love how she repeats the doilies from her banner as a border down the left side of her center block.

Dana has placed her photo right in a sweet spot and the crop on it is perfect for bringing your eye straight to her beautiful girls.  It is such a darling photo and goes perfectly with the kit.

I also love the scale of her scatter and other elements and how their placement keeps your eyes moving about the canvas, soaking in each and every inch of the page.  There is just a ton of good stuff happening on this page!

To see more of Dana’s great pages, stop by and check out her gallery at Sweet Shoppe Designs; you’ll be glad you did.
