I mentioned in the beginning of this news letter that I have been super busy. My mom had a stroke two weeks ago and while she was able to come home today, the care she needs has increased dramatically, which means my free time has decreased significantly. Since I do not see things slowing down any time soon, I have had to make some tough choices to try to balance the things I need to do with the things I love to do.
I love to design and do not plan to give it up, but I need to start a simplification process to make it more manageable. The first step in am taking is to close my shop at Ginger Scraps. I can’t tell you how much I love the shop and the community there, but part of what makes GS so awesome are all the challenges and store collabs, and I simply am not going to be able to keep up with those responsibilities.
Ginger has been wonderful and so very understanding. She has promised to save me a place if I am able to come back someday, and I plan to hold her to that, but for now, I am saying good-bye. My shop at GS will close on October 31st. Make sure you stop in to check out my good-bye post because I am going to have a special going away present for the community.
If you found me through Ginger Scraps, I hope you will stay with me as I will still be selling at The Digi Chick and Panstoria. I will also have a guest shop in November that I am very excited about. More to come on that later!
