I am so excited!  One of my layouts was chosen as a Gallery Stand Out on the Finger Pointing Blog yesterday.

What makes this even more special to me, is that she chose it because of the journaling.  I am a storyteller at heart and I think journaling is the soul of a scrapbook layout. To be recognized for something I hold especially dear is a wonderful feeling.  I can’t thank Claire enough for making my day!

I love these types of kits that are about living in moment and cherishing each and everyday, because time is fleeting and life is fragile.  That quote sums my personal feelings up so well and is the perfect center piece of my layout.

I also love positive reinforcement, so I plan to do some finger pointing of mine own here on the blog with my own Gallery Stand Out posts.  I’ll be looking for and sharing layouts with you that amaze and inspire me.
